These other reviews were overly harsh. The presentation of this game is beyond what has ever been seen in a college basketball game. It is almost like you are watching a game on TV.

My review is trying to resemble what reputable gaming websites say — about a 7 or 8 out of 10. Everyone generally agrees that the new motion offense is very cool, and I really like that addition.

In the end, it depends on what you are looking for. If you want a TV-like experience, this is the game to get. Gameplay can be challenging at times, but you gain better graphics.

This game is simply awful, I read many poor and so so reviews for this product, however, since it is the only college basketball game available this year and I am a huge fan of college basketball I purchased it. I truly regret this purchase, for the first two weeks I tried to overlook the countless glaring flaws, but I have now accepted the fact that I will never play this game again. The sole positive is this games presentation, the CBS and ESPN presentations are excellent, even though the dialog is often wrong and very repetitive that is the case with most sports games and is not that much of an issue. Where the problem lies is the control, it is dismal the players that you “control” running out of bounds back courts driving to the basket when you are trying to shoot a three pointer, the awful passing and lost dribbles, saving the ball from going out of bounds to the person you stole it from, rampant turnovers. What you do with the game pad has so little impact on what is happening on the screen it is unbearable. Double Dribble on the NES is a more realistic basketball sim than this and has better control and player movement. Avoid this like the plague, you will be better for it.

Have you ever played a game that you tried your hardest to like, but couldn’t get passed the glaring flaws? Well, this is NCAA Basketball 10 and here is a list of all the things that will piss you off if you buy it:

    - Players will stand out of bounce for no reason (this is fun when you try to pass to them)

    - Players will run out of bounce with the ball for no reason

    - Players will commit frequent backcourt violations

    - During the inbounds pass, the ball will go through the players chest if your standing in from of someone

    - Your unmanned player will dive out of bounce for a loose ball when it’s not necessary. This usually will result in a turn over because he touches the ball last.

    - There is virtually no inside game, and dribbing with a Center/Power Forward typically results in your player “stumbling” and losing possession of the ball.

    - The CPU AI will shoot 3 pointers without looking at the basket (and sometimes they will make them)

    - If you let the CPU Point Guard or Shooting Guard drive to the hole, and if you have other defenders in the area, it ALWAYS results in a shooting foul.

    - Shooting fouls occur even when the foul is on the floor

    - Unmanned players always whiff when trying to intercept a pass down low, which typically leads to the CPU dunking on you.

    - CPU launches unrealistic 3 Points, get it’s own rebound and scores underneath

    - CPU Alley Opps are impossible to stop

    - If you block the CPU’s shot, they fall to the ground, and then your called for a shooting foul (Weird)

    - CPU commits mysterious fouls, you hear a whistle, then it’s your ball. You never know what happened.

    - If you don’t hold down L2 and manually pick who you’re passing to, you never know where the ball is going.

    - Playing Man to Man against another human player is impossible

    - When shooting the ball, your player changes his shot to make it more difficult for no reason (not sure if this is something I’m doing wrong)

    - You typically miss the easy shots down low and make the hard ones

    - Commentary is dull and repetitive

    - All the players look the same, which isn’t a big deal because it’s college ball

I played half a season before I just gave up. What’s funny is that you only need to play 1 or 2 games to see all these problems.
